Michael Torres | Director of e-Discovery


Michael Torres has been a certified (ABA Approved) paralegal for over 20 years. He has been involved in supporting and managing multiple class action cases from toxic tort (PGE v. Anderson / “Erin Brockovich”), product liability (i.e. tobacco cases), and insurance bad faith. Involved in the e-Discovery process since 2001, he specializes in coordinating with experts and co-counsel to create and maintain databases containing millions of documents and terabytes of metadata. While at the law office of O’Donnell & Associates, Michael was instrumental in the success of a $350 million dollar verdict by preparing and managing the case through a four-month jury trial.

Michael is a member of The Sedona Conference, specializing in the Electronic Document Retention and Production working groups. He is also a member of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). He holds a Concordance Software Administrator's Certificate from LexisNexis, and has in-depth experience working with Sanction and Trial Director.
