- A knack for research
- Ability to scour a variety of sources to locate old insurance policies
- Knowledge of mass tort/complex general liability insurance policies and coverages
- GL, property, casualty and/or environmental claims management and administration experience
- Ability to comprehend insurance policies, cancellations, reinstatements, endorsements, and other insurance related documents
- Strong written and oral communication to interface with clients, lawyers and insurers
- Legacy claims experience such as asbestos and environmental a plus
- Insurance company, insurance brokerage or law firm experience
